Why we built EVA / evatalk.ru

Clients needed SaaS any business embeds with one JavaScript snippet: visitors speak and type, the assistant understands live speech and replies with synthesized voice in real time without waiting for staff or installing a separate app. Initial focus — services: salons, dental, fitness, real estate.

Booking, pricing, promos and hours had to work on desktop and phones where mic and autoplay policies are strict. Calendars, CRM and staff utilization metrics required light-CRM logic inside a cloud product.

We chose Yandex SpeechKit for STT and TTS, built Node.js and Python microservices with RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL, added graceful fallback to text when voice is down and shipped evatalk.ru on a monthly subscription for salons and clinics.

The widget switches modes mid-dialog; SpeechKit streams recognition and TTS with natural pauses, client-side noise reduction and NLU for context.

Booking and schedules

EVA reserves slots with stylists, dentists or coaches, respects staff and branch hours and prevents double booking in the live grid.

Business scenarios

Admin builder for dialog branches, key phrases and answers on price, location and services; changes apply without redeploying the embed.

CRM and calendars

REST sync with AmoCRM and Google Calendar, webhook booking confirmations, average check and staff load metrics for owners.

Mobile UX

Audio unlock after the first user gesture, Web Audio API layer, adaptive bitrate on cellular and workarounds for iOS/Android autoplay limits.

SaaS cabinet

Site connections, plans, dialog history, booking conversion analytics and subscription management on evatalk.ru for multiple locations.

How it works

The React widget embeds on any site; backend microservices in Docker talk via RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL stores scenarios and dialogs, Redis caches slots. SpeechKit runs in streaming mode; if the external API fails the widget stays in text mode with full booking.

An MVP with basic voice and booking grew for six months from salon and agency feedback: NLU, integrations, reports and scenario A/B followed. The micro-frontend layer handles browser quirks over Web Audio API and text fallback.

Resilience around SpeechKit billing, phrase-to-reply latency monitoring, load tests and salon pilots before broad evatalk.ru onboarding closed the SaaS widget delivery cycle for service businesses.

Scenarios and CRM hooks cut manual chat and speed visit confirmation. In real estate lead response dropped to 1–2 minutes via automated viewing reservations; the widget stays usable on desktop and phone after audio unlock on first gesture.

The build blended CRM logic, speech tech and SaaS monetization — ESK reuses voice UI, SpeechKit and calendar integration in later service-business products, from the embed widget to the evatalk.ru cloud cabinet.
